Company Fortrans Ltd. was established in 1990. At the beginning the scope of the company was only research and development, planning and creating prototypes of transformers, welding torches and industrial X-ray machines. During producing of prototypes we met with some difficulties, therefore we established a tool producing workshop on high efforts and later we built up our new transformer producer and welding torch producer part of the business. Afterwards we started to manufacture different kind of components for welding torches and soon after complete welding torches machines in mass production. 80 % of our production volume is made for the export market (BRD,Austria, England, USA, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Italy). The components and the complete machines of our welding techniques were on show in 1997 and 2001 in Essen International Welding Fair. The developing part of our products are made with the support of PRO ENGENEERING computer program, and we have CNC work machine in order to ensure our precise work.
